Company Mission MSTS manages and operates the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) for the U.S. National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). Our mission is to ensure the security of the United States and its allies by providing high‑hazard experimentation and incident response capabilities through operations, engineering, education, field and integration services. Our vision is to be the user site of choice for large‑scale, high‑hazard national security experimentation, with premier below‑ground, on‑ground, and aerial facilities.

Responsibilities

Perform full‑cycle recruitment for technical roles including scientists, engineers and IT professionals.

Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and source effective candidate pools for workforce planning, forecasting, succession planning and recruiting strategies.

Screen candidates to assess technical skills and cultural fit.

Present and recommend qualified candidates to hiring leaders and initiate formal interview process.

Manage expectations by communicating project status and issues, resolving concerns, analyzing time and cost issues, and preparing reports.

Track requisition metrics and produce relevant reporting to business functions.

Ensure all recruiting activities comply with OFCCP, company policies and government regulations.

Represent NNSS at community and recruiting events.

Follow HR trends and regulations, making recommendations for continuous improvement.

Support HR programs to improve employee experience.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required.

Bachelor's degree related to field and at least 5 years of professional HR recruiting experience (or equivalent).

Experience in full‑life cycle recruiting, reviewing resumes, screening, interviewing, and using HRIS and ATS.

5+ years in a corporate HR recruiting function with a track record of delivering qualified candidates aligned with position requirements.

Technical recruiting experience in science, engineering, construction and IT.

Experience supporting federal government contracting recruiting is highly desired.

Knowledge of state and federal employment laws, government regulations, industry trends and best practices.

Strong relationship‑building skills with internal senior management and customers.

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and staffing software packages (Oracle HCM Talent Cloud preferred).

Primary location: Losee Road facility in North Las Vegas, Nevada.

Work schedule: 4/10s, Monday–Thursday (subject to change).

Pre‑placement physical examination, including a drug screen, is required.

Valid driver's license required.

Additional Requirements Must be able to obtain an HSPD‑12 Personal Identity Verification credential under the Department of Energy Order 206.2 and NNSA directive 206.2.

Salary Annual salary range: $78,832.00 – $118,248.00. Salary determined by market value, candidate education, experience and internal equity.
