Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Job Description As a Credit & Collections Analyst, you will play a crucial role in enhancing company profitability by consistently meeting Credit department objectives. Your daily activities will include managing cash posting, researching short payments, conducting collections, and collaborating with Sales & Customer Service to ensure timely order releases. Strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
Post cash from wires, ACH, and checks.
Assist with account reviews to monitor and release outgoing orders.
Communicate with customers for collection efforts or to satisfy customer requests.
Collaborate with multiple departments for audits, orders, order corrections, and documentation.
Run, review, and reconcile aging reports for reporting purposes.
Review and approve credit invoice files for distribution or correction.
Advocate for Finance during internal/external audits and annually for external audits.
Be available during month‑end close.
Assist with any other credit department tasks as requested.
Essential Skills
Accounts receivable experience
Cash application and posting
Collections and reconciliation
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree is a plus.
2+ years of experience in the accounting field; AR experience is a plus.
Highly organized and detail‑oriented team player.
SAP experience is a plus.
Work Environment Currently, the position is fully remote until December 1st, due to office construction. Initially, in‑office training with another team member is required. Once comfortable, the role will transition to a remote/hybrid model, with a schedule of three days a week in the office. This opportunity offers a great contract role with a well‑known consumer products company, providing an excellent résumé builder and a supportive team environment.

Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 – $27.00 /hr.
