Investment Banking Real Estate Analyst - New York

Morgan Stanley . Our New York City office is looking for an Investment Banking Analyst to join the Real Estate Group. The successful candidate will work on complex transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, shareholder relations, recapitalizations, leveraged buyouts, and strategic advisory assignments. You will collaborate with senior professionals to deliver high-quality advice to our clients and play an important role on a team that encourages creative thinking beyond the numbers.

Qualifications

1 year of experience in investment banking or capital markets is required

Extraordinarily high level of motivation, focus on work quality, attention to detail, strong work ethic, and decision‑making abilities

Experience in the real estate industry is preferred, but not required

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a positive attitude

Analytical, quantitative, adaptive, self‑starter, leader, team player, multitasker, and results‑oriented

Interest in developing a career in real‑estate investment banking

Top educational credentials; Bachelor’s degree is required

Series licensing or willingness to obtain

Expected base pay for the role will be between $110,000 and $125,000 per year at the commencement of employment. Total compensation may include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, and other Morgan Stanley‑sponsored benefit programs.
