Commercial Lines Account Manager – Transportation / Trucking
Job Summary
Seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager (CLAM) specializing in Transportation / Trucking. This role involves managing a book of business with a focus on small to mid-market trucking and transportation accounts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in account management, customer service, and marketing renewals, particularly with fleets ranging from 1-10 power units and 10+ power units.
Compensation Package
Salary Range : $65,000 - $85,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
Benefits : Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k).
Responsibilities
Manage a $1.2M revenue book of business, focusing on trucking and transportation accounts.
Handle daily customer service tasks, including responding to client inquiries and resolving issues.
Market and process renewals for existing accounts.
Quote new and renewal business as required.
Collaborate with team members to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Maintain organized and accurate records of client interactions and account details.
Provide expert advice and solutions tailored to the needs of clients with small and large fleets.
Qualifications / Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, specifically within the trucking / transportation industry.
Proven expertise in managing accounts with fleets of various sizes (1-10 power units and 10+ power units).
Proficiency in AMS360 software is highly preferred.
Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
Flexibility to work remotely, in-office, or in a hybrid setup.
Willingness to undergo a background check as part of the onboarding process.
