HVAC Technician
The Town of Brookline is seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to perform maintenance, repair, and installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across Town facilities. This hands-on position ensures that our buildings remain comfortable, energy-efficient, and well maintained for employees and the public.
Responsibilities :
Servicing, installing, and maintaining HVAC systems and automatic temperature controls
Testing and troubleshooting equipment such as chillers, air handling units, ductless and split systems, package AC units, boilers, and ventilation systems
Using laptop-based diagnostic tools and software to monitor and adjust system performance
Performing preventative maintenance, keeping accurate records of repairs, and managing parts replacements
Qualifications :
High school diploma plus additional training and experience maintaining large HVAC systems and equipment such as air handling units, rooftop units, exhaust fans, split systems, and classroom unit ventilators; must have strong troubleshooting and system analysis skills.
Massachusetts Journeyman Refrigeration / HVAC License
Valid MA Driver's License
