What You’ll Do
Lead aerodynamic design and analysis for advanced turbine components and flow paths.
Perform 1‑D, 2‑D, and 3‑D aerodynamic modeling for blades, nozzles, and exhaust diffusers.
Develop and enhance predictive tools and simulation methods for improved aerodynamic performance.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in Mechanical Design, Heat Transfer, and Performance to deliver world‑class turbine solutions.
Analyze test results, develop performance predictions, and support product upgrades and field issues.
Integrate CFD‑based insights (ANSYS CFX, STAR‑CCM+) into design validation and optimization cycles.
Automate design processes using Python, C, or C++ to streamline development workflows.
What You Bring
Bachelors or Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
710 years of experience in turbine or gas path aerodynamics design and simulation.
Proficiency in CFD tools (ANSYS CFX, STAR‑CCM+) and geometry modeling software (e.g., Creo).
Experience with Python, C, or C++ for computational and data analysis.
Ability to manage complex technical challenges and collaborate across engineering disciplines.
Excellent communication skills and a passion for precision engineering.
Qualifications
Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) with a focus on turbine aerodynamics.
Experience in aerothermal optimization or cooled turbine design.
Familiarity with automation tools for pre‑ and post‑processing in CFD environments.
