PRODUCTION/LETTING COORDINATOR/OFFICE OF WORK PROGRAM AND BUDGET/PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT This position plays a vital role in supporting the Florida Department of Transportations mission by ensuring the effective and timely delivery of transportation projects through the management of Central Office contract lettings and performance oversight. The role contributes to the agency by validating contract readiness, coordinating across functional areas to resolve funding or documentation issues, and maintaining accurate reporting on production and financial impacts to the Work Program. It enhances decision-making and accountability through the development of performance dashboards, forecasting tools, and monthly performance reports, while also promoting efficiency in production management processes. Additionally, the position supports workforce development by assisting in the creation of training tools for new staff, ensuring consistent application of procedures and continuous improvement within the agencys production and budgeting operations. Where You Will Work Annual Salary Range $58,788.56 - $65,500.00 Your Specific Responsibilities
Manage Central Office contract letting packages for each monthly contract letting. These major activities include: 1) Validating contract packages are complete with required documents and concurrence of offices involved. 2) Identifying and resolving variances between estimates and funding to ensure advertisements occur as scheduled. 3) Communicating with key members of the production pipeline to ensure timely progression of required documentation for the monthly Processing List for each Central Office Contract Letting. 4) Using reporting tools to assess impacts to the Capital Program of Projects (Work Program) and inform staff in the Office of Work Program and Budget of changes to the planned contract lettings. 5) Assisting in the preparation of monthly reports as needed. Assist in coordinating the performance dashboard enhancements from a business standpoint. Assist in evaluating the current and proposed data contents of the dashboard to ensure it conveys the information needed by the Central Office and District executive teams. Work with the production team to establish fully automated performance reporting processes. Assist in the development and monitoring of the annual Lockdown Plan and the monthly reporting and verification of performance and production accomplishments toward the Plan. Maintain, monitor and coordinate future lettings that may impact funds and budget. Provide a peer review of the monthly Performance Report and related data for accuracy and completeness. Assist in the coordination and accumulation of planned and actual data from key functional areas. Assist in development of standard reports for forecasting trends on contract lettings and production availability, as well as ad hoc reports. Prepare reports and presentation material in support of decision making. Review and analyze Production Management processes for efficiency improvements including letting practices, lockdown development, and performance/production monitoring. Stay abreast of current department office and mainframe computer systems and reports that support and verify the Production Management Office duties and responsibilities. Assist units in development of training tools for incoming staff to improve speed of full deployment of human resources. The Successful Candidate will have the following required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of: Financial Management, Project Management/Scheduling, and Work Program Administration Technical terms and concepts in the field of transportation Project development, production, and operations processes and schedules The time value of money

Minimum Qualifications
Six years of work experience in Engineering, Contract Administration or Development, Finance, Economics, Public Administration, Business Administration, Urban Planning, Policy Analysis, Financial Modeling, Accounting, Statistics, Transportation Financial Analysis, or Work Program Development. Post?secondary education may substitute on a year?for?year basis.
