We are working with a Boston-based nonprofit organization seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their Human Resources team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about attracting, supporting, and retaining mission-driven talent.
This role is in the office 5 days a week from 9am-5pm. This person will play a vital role in managing full-cycle recruitment, enhancing employee engagement, and supporting HR operations. Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruitment across multiple departments, from job posting and sourcing to interviews and offers. Partner with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, interview guides, and selection criteria. Source and engage candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, and community partnerships. Maintain and optimize the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accuracy and compliance. Coordinate candidate communication, interview scheduling, and follow-up to ensure a positive experience. Assist with onboarding processes, including new hire paperwork, background checks, and orientation coordination. Support employee engagement initiatives such as recognition programs, events, and surveys. Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity within HR systems. Provide administrative support for HR programs including benefits enrollment, performance reviews, and policy updates. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). 2 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR coordination—preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven environment. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Compensation: $60,000-70,000
