About The Role We’re looking for a self‑taught web developer who enjoys challenges, is not afraid of learning new things, and thrives when solving interesting problems.
You treat the WP Admin like home, enjoy tinkering with plugins, and prefer to perfect a single evolving website rather than juggling multiple projects.
You have a keen eye for UI, solid understanding of UX, and strong written communication skills. You thrive in isolation, embrace failures, learn from them, and welcome constructive feedback from all team members.
Who Are We Looking For You are a self‑taught web developer who enjoys challenges, has a passion for WordPress, and can be your own operator and pro‑active problem solver.
What You Will Be Doing You will take ownership of the entire technical operation of our WordPress‑powered website, blog, and knowledge base, working alongside developers, marketers, and product people to create, maintain, and update our web presence as the company evolves.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain WordPress & Elementor sites.
Test and improve website design.
Create and grow a library of reusable custom Elementor widgets.
Maintain website appearance by enforcing content standards.
Work with WordPress themes and plugins, communicating design ideas.
Incorporate functionalities and features via plugins.
Perform ongoing updates of plugins and WordPress core.
Optimize website for speed and load performance.
Collaborate with the marketing team.
Growth Opportunities
Contribute to the Freemius open‑source WordPress SDK.
Expand into other web development initiatives within the company.
Source and analyze data on WordPress plugin & theme business practices to support content and video efforts.
