Zachary Piper Solutions is hiring a Cyber Network Engineer to support mission-critical infrastructure for the Space Systems Integration Office located in El Segundo, CA. This role focuses on vulnerability management and network engineering, contributing to integration assessments across multiple mission domains. Security Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI (minimum TS). Work Location: El Segundo, CA – 100% on-site. Key Responsibilities
Lead annual reviews, updates, and certification/reaccreditation of classified and unclassified network systems, including standalone and mission systems.
Maintain the Vulnerability Management System by updating DISA databases with closed Technical Compliance Network Orders and resolving SCAP/ACAS scan findings.
Configure and patch network devices such as routers and switches.
Collaborate directly with government personnel, participating in technical exchange meetings and stakeholder briefings.
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance (Top Secret minimum)
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field
5+ years of relevant experience
IAT Level II certification (e.g., GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCNA‑Security)
Proven experience in LAN/WAN setup and configuration, including routers, switches, and firewalls
Ability to build and harden servers from the ground up
Familiarity with NIST and RMF frameworks in support of ISSO activities
Proficiency in Windows environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Objects
Experience with network encryption devices, particularly General Dynamics KG‑175F
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $135,000–$150,000 (based on experience)
Benefits Package: Includes PTO, 11 paid holidays, medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
Contract: Fully funded for 12+ months
