This is a full‑time, Mathematics (Algebra 1) teaching position for the 2025‑2026 school year at Caesar Rodney High School. It is a temporary position.
Individuals who are eligible or possess Secondary Mathematics Teacher certification are encouraged to apply. All candidates must apply online.
Qualifications
Applicant must meet State of Delaware certification requirements for Secondary Mathematics Teacher.
Successful candidates must provide evidence of successful PRAXIS II scores or a valid out‑of‑state teaching license.
Out‑of‑state candidates: an educator applying for a license in the State of DE with less than 1 year of experience will be placed on an Initial License. Applicants with one completed year of experience, but less than 4 years of experience, will receive an Initial License. The State of Delaware DOE may recognize standard certificates from all other states as a means of eligibility.

Salary & Benefits In accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules, pay is based on experience and degree. A benefits package is included.
Pre‑employment Requirements
Official transcripts (if applicable), an updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation.
Criminal background check and tuberculosis test.
Proper identification (Social Security Card and driver’s license), documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.A., completion of I‑9 form, and completion of paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry.
