OPD Psychiatrist
for locations at
NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx . Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed Level I Trauma Center, and North Central Bronx Hospital has 213 licensed beds. Both are leaders in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, burn care, pediatrics, primary care, and women’s health, with an academic affiliation to Albert Einstein Medical College.

Role Responsibilities
Clinical leadership including review of psychiatric evaluations and treatment plans.
Conducting patient triage, assessments, and emergency interventions.
Managing medication evaluations, reconciliation, and ongoing pharmacotherapy.
Providing concrete services such as medication prior authorization, disability reports, and healthcare documentation.
Coordinating medical care with other providers and communicating with patient support systems.
Participating in clinical activities, documentation, performance improvement, and compliance.
Teaching and supervising residents, interns, students, and other staff, including participation in ethics meetings, court hearings, and rounds.
Supervising psychologists, social workers, PAs, and medical students.
Engaging in innovative integrative care activities.
