About the Role As the Regional Sales Manager for the Midwest, you’ll lead the charge in shaping and executing a strategic retail sales plan that drives both sales and profit growth across Ferrero’s diverse and expanding product portfolio.
You’ll be the primary point of contact for Account Buyers and broker teams in your region, building strong, collaborative relationships that foster mutual success. Your ability to influence and connect will be key to unlocking new opportunities and strengthening Ferrero’s presence in the market.
Reporting directly to the Director of Regional Accounts, Grocery East, you’ll work closely to align on goals, share insights, and deliver impactful results that move the business forward.
This position reports to the Director of Regional Accounts, Grocery East and is remote, with candidates ideally based in the Midwest United States.
Main Responsibilities
Meet all revenue, volume, growth, profit and share targets
Meet all distribution, shelving, pricing, and merchandising goals
Provide input during Joint Business Planning process
Support execution against strategic initiatives and commitments with retailers
Own relationship with buyers and execute formalized, value-added engagement plan with established feedback loop to act on customer input
Provide clear direction to Brokers and prioritization of DSMP initiatives, including evaluation of KPI’s, results and quarterly reviews
Provide complete and timely information to brokers to support their sales efforts including trade plans, marketing plans, consumer insights, and product knowledge
Responsible for delivering the key monthly Broker KPI’s across all DSMP metrics
Engagement and management of the Broker relationships at the most Senior stakeholder levels
Work collaboratively to develop innovative and insightful content to drive category growth
Manage trade budgets judiciously to drive demand within the region
Identify medium and long-term business opportunities within the region
Develop accurate SKU-level forecasts each month based on expected demand, seasons, and promotions
Own forecast accuracy with feedback loop for constant improvement
Develop and execute promotional plans and conduct post-promotional analysis (ROI)
About You
Min. 5 years, Account Management, Merchandising, and/or Category Management experience, across N. America in a CPG setting
Multi-channel CPG experience preferred (C-store, Mass, Grocery, Dollar, e-Comm & Value)
Bachelor’s Degree is required, M.B.A is preferred
Interpersonal skills to interface effectively with the necessary internal and external stakeholders
Strategic and proactive thinking to develop sales strategies and translate them into distribution, shelving, pricing and merchandising objectives
Strong data analysis to review performance in category and develop strategies to close gaps, increase sales, etc.
Management presentation competencies to effectively present key insights in front of internal and external stakeholders
Global mindset and desire to build a successful career with a growing global company
Compensation Data The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $115,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job‑related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
