Job Title
Travel Podiatrist
About the Role We are seeking a Travel Podiatrist to provide care at skilled nursing facilities across multiple states. Ideal candidates may already hold several state licenses; we will cover the expense to obtain additional licensures. The role offers flexible scheduling for part‑time or full‑time travel work, with all travel expenses reimbursed.
Responsibilities
Provide general podiatry services onsite at nursing facilities.
Deliver on‑site treatment and enter chart notes while present.
Submit accurate billing codes for services rendered.
Maintain a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
Work independently on a daily basis.
Use the NextGen EMR via email and other electronic tools.
Travel within a 2‑hour driving radius depending on territory.
Requirements
Graduated from an accredited School of Podiatric Medicine.
Completed a one‑year podiatric residency program.
Hold a current professional license in the operating state.
Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and adapt to varying schedules.
Experience with NextGen EMR preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
Production‑based model with a guaranteed minimum per‑day rate.
Mileage at $0.50 per mile to/from facility and overnight hotel accommodations and daily food allowance when overnight travel is required (per company expense policy).
