Account Executive
Patcraft

What’s the role? The Account Executive will work closely with architects, designers, contractors, and business owners to promote Patcraft’s flooring solutions across Portland, OR and surrounding areas. The role encompasses prospecting new clients, managing projects from concept to completion, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Engage architects, designers, flooring contractors, and end‑users to select products that meet design, budget, and schedule requirements.
Travel daily within the assigned region to call on existing customers and prospect new accounts.
Manage the full project lifecycle: identify opportunities, coordinate product selection and specifications, place and track orders, coordinate delivery and installation, conduct punch walks, and communicate maintenance plans.
Utilize Salesforce.com (or other CRM) to manage customer data and sales activity.
Follow up on leads from trade shows, networking groups, and other sources.
Build customer relationships through professional engagement, including lunches, dinners, or special events.
Deliver presentations and product education to architects, designers, and end‑users.

Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 3 years of sales experience.
Must be currently residing in Portland, OR.
Preferred Qualifications Experience in flooring or building materials sales.
