Job Description The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving new business growth across Distribution, Dealer, and Lumberyard channels through proactive prospecting, cold‑calling, and product demonstrations. The role delivers technical product information, accurate quoting, and high‑quality service, while managing customer onboarding and maintaining CRM records in collaboration with Territory Sales Managers. Strong communication skills, self‑motivation, and the ability to resolve customer inquiries efficiently are essential.
Candidates must be able to work Pacific Standard Time hours (PST).
Duties and Responsibilities
Prospect new direct and indirect customers within Distribution, Dealer, and Lumberyard channels.
Actively cold‑call prospects and perform online demos, customer configurators, and other selling tools.
Build rapport with prospects and customers over the phone.
Onboard new customers and contractors.
Receive phone calls and assist customers, homeowners, sales teams, contractors, and dealers with window questions.
Pitch new products to existing customers and identify new business opportunities.
Route qualified sales opportunities to the appropriate Territory Sales Manager.
Quote efficiently and accurately using multiple tools.
Read, analyze, and interpret product manuals, drawings, and standard operating procedures.
Verify and send appropriate cross‑reference recommendations to ensure customers and projects stay within CBB brands.
Utilize CRM to keep accurate records of prospects, customers, and new projects.
Deliver high‑quality customer service and support a broad range of customer needs.
Handle difficult requests and find customer resolution.
Provide product technical information to respond to inquiries and recommend alternative materials or products; refer customers to qualified divisional personnel for advanced technical questions.
Attend tradeshows as needed with Territory Sales Managers.
Self‑motivated and able to manage workload independently.
Exhibit excellent customer service skills.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required; College Degree preferred.
1–2 years of Sales experience.
0–3 years of experience in Manufacturing.
3–5 years of Professional Experience preferred.
Proven success in a sales‑focused, customer‑centric environment.
