What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Develop methodologies for key performance management metrics to guide financial and capital allocation decisions
Oversee reporting of actual financial results and collaborate with actuarial and PM&A teams
Conduct business performance analysis and provide recommendations for financial strategies
Communicate actual and projected financial results to stakeholders, including the CFO
Drive the evolution of financial reporting processes to enhance efficiency and insights
What is Required (Qualifications):
Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or related fields; advanced studies (e.g., MBA) preferred
Typically, 10 or more years of experience in financial planning and analysis or related finance functions
Strong verbal and written communication skills to present financial information and recommendations
Ability to collaborate across teams and influence decision-making processes
Foundational knowledge of technology and finance data and tools
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience in pricing or other key finance functions
Proven ability to attract, hire, and develop strong talent within a finance team
Familiarity with predictive analytics and its application in financial decision-making
