Territory Sales Manager
to drive sales, strengthen customer relationships, and grow market share across the St. Louis, MO, and Illinois territories. About the Role
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales and profitability goals for aggregates and related products within an assigned region. This role focuses on business development, customer management, market intelligence, and strategic coordination with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer value and achieve territory objectives. Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve defined volume, share, and pricing targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored product solutions. Identify and pursue new business opportunities while strengthening existing accounts. Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and market trends to inform strategy. Collaborate with logistics, quality, credit, and plant operations teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Forecast sales volumes and manage account portfolios to ensure optimal performance. Participate in market and industry associations to represent company interests and promote brand awareness. Ensure all business activities are conducted in full compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies. Manage customer collections and account aging to ensure timely payments. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in
Business, Engineering, or related field
(required). 5–7 years of
sales and territory management experience , ideally within the
construction materials or aggregates industry . Proven record of achieving or exceeding sales goals. Strong business acumen, analytical ability, and communication skills. Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently. Proficient with CRM systems and sales reporting tools. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
