Seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join a top‑ranked, family‑owned Bay Area contractor. This role is pivotal in managing the planning, implementation, and execution of K12/K14 DSA construction projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. You will manage projects from inception to completion, liaising with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, and ensuring that all work meets the highest standards. Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of the construction project from planning to implementation. Allocate resources for assigned projects. Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors. Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients. Negotiate with contractors to obtain reasonable costs. Maintain high workmanship standards that adhere to original plans and specifications. Prepare internal and external reports on job status. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve emerging issues. Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks. Ensure quality construction standards and proper construction techniques. Qualifications
5 to 10 years of experience in construction project management. Proven working experience in construction management, specifically in education construction (K12 and K14). Advanced knowledge of construction management processes and methods. Understanding of all facets of the construction process. Familiarity with construction management software packages. Ability to plan and see the big picture. Excellent time and project management skills. Strong leadership skills and effective communication with diverse groups. Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure. Attention to detail and multitasking ability. Excellent problem‑solving skills and quick decision making. Proficiency in MS Office and project management software. Seniority Level
