Position Overview The G37 TREX Senior Military Operations Analyst Task Lead Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) will assist in providing Certification and Evaluation Support in service of the USASMDC G37 Training, Readiness, and Exercise Division (G37 TREX) mission.

Essential Job Function

Serve as Task Lead for Certification and Evaluation Support. Assessment of GMD located at Schriever SFB, CO and at Fort Greely, AK.

Plan, resource and conduct certification assessments for GMD crews.

Support certifications and certification events, to include brigade external evaluations (EXEVALs), by developing master scenario event list (MSELs) and exercise development products when requested and coordinated through the G3 TREX.

Conduct military decision making process (MDMP), briefings and professional writing for USASMDC GMD mission areas.

Plan, develop, and prepare recommendations to update/revise the Command’s Standards & Evaluations Program focusing on the GMD mission areas and be able to support other USASMDC mission areas as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Must have TS/SCI clearance

Must have 5+ years GMD operator and/or planner experience, GMD education to include GMD Qualification Course (GQC) or Missile Defense Officer Qualification Course (MDOQC) and Army GMD staff officer course.

Must have familiarity with AN/TPY-2 radars operating in Forward-base Mode (FBM) and be able to support Radar Operators and Sensor Manager OREs when required.

Must possess a working knowledge of GMD, general GMD operational equipment, and GMD operations software applications used by the crews, as well as the fundamentals of GMD planning, and fundamentals of how GMD enables the Warfighter.

Must have experience with GMD staff operations, Missile Defense Element (MDE) and Fire Direction Center (FDC) and GMD exercise support.

Must have Brigade or above level staff experience including orders productions, tier 1 level exercise planning, and staff processes.

Must have professional experience in Army writing, briefing, and presentations.

Minimum level of education of a bachelor’s degree, advanced military education such as Non-Commissioned Officer Education (NCOEs), battle staff or Officer Education System (OES).
