This position will work with COMSO’s Managed Security Service Provider, CISPOINT. U.S. Citizenship is required for employment.
Key Responsibilities
THIS IS AN ON‑SITE POSITION LOCATED IN COLUMBIA, MD
Architect and implement Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions in Microsoft Cloud environments.
Set up and manage secure enclaves within Azure, ensuring robust isolation and security.
Support and maintain Microsoft GCC High environments for federal workloads.
Collaborate with cybersecurity and compliance teams to align infrastructure with federal standards.
Automate cloud provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Monitor cloud performance, security posture, and cost efficiency.
Create and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure and compliance audits.
Required Qualifications
Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure, including GCC High.
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure security and best practices.
Experience deploying and managing VDIs in enterprise or government environments.
Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Terraform, ARM templates).
Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing and deploying CMMC‑compliant cloud environments.
Familiarity with CMMC Level 2/3 requirements and enclave architecture.
Prior involvement in projects requiring GCC High for CMMC compliance.
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Security Engineer, or CMMC Assessor/Practitioner.
Knowledge of FedRAMP, NIST 800‑171, and other federal compliance frameworks.
Experience supporting DoD or federal agency cloud initiatives.
Driving record will be checked.
On Target Earning: $80,000 – $115,000. Compensation ranges are a general guideline only and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, candidate’s scope of relevant work experience, educational background, certifications, contract‑specific affordability, organizational requirements and alignment with local market data. Our compensation includes other indirect financial components designed to support employees’ total well‑being, which should be considered when evaluating our competitive benefits package. These monetary benefits include medical insurance, life insurance, disability, paid time off, parental leave, 401(k) company match, training/education reimbursements.
