What you need (Qualifications) 10+ years of experience in a related field
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
Expert in Python or C, C++
Very experienced with model based development using Matlab/Simulink
Experience in developing and maintaining relational databases
Extensive experience developing enterprise level applications
Expert at gathering user requirements and developing design diagrams, user documentations, and project plans for developing software
Expert at architecting software tools and development, including internal and external APIs
Very knowledgeable of standard software development tools
Continuous integration - TeamCity / Artifactory
Version control - Git / Bitbucket
Issue tracking - Jira
Development environment application deployment, and orchestration - Ansible
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Comfortable leading Agile/SCRUM methodologies and tools throughout the organization
Familiarity with Tool Qualification Levels TQL
Bonus Qualifications Experience developing real-time software for a Hardware-in-the-Loop aircraft simulator
Experience building and developing for a COTS HIL platform (dSPACE, NI, ADI, etc)
Understanding of the National Instruments (NI) software suite
Solid understanding of communication standards and protocols (RS-422/485, CAN, ARINC-429, AFDX, Ethernet, TCP/IP, USB etc…)
Experience automating and executing test plans
Familiarity with fault injection methodologies
Proficiency with model based development using Matlab/Simulink
Experience with DO-178 and other aviation standards
Familiarity with or a passion for aviation
