Location Hybrid – New Orleans, LA
Duration / Type 6‑month contract, CTH
Pay $60.00‑$80.00 per hour (C2C basis). Actual pay may vary by shift, location, experience, and business needs.
Key Responsibilities This role focuses on Middleware Application Management, providing project and operational support for a defined set of middleware applications across all business units. The primary focus is to support projects and operations in the customer’s Tibco environments and products—TIBCO EMS, Business Works, Business Works CE, Business Events, Mashery, Tibco ActiveSpaces, Container environments, and Tibco applications—ensuring SLAs are met and continuous process improvements are achieved.
Job Duties / Responsibilities
Support SDM in providing customer‑centric IT; reliable, predictable, cost‑effective, and secure service.
Oversee operations support and vendor support for new releases, upgrades, patches, and enhancements; lead support teams.
Execute Release & Deployment Management processes, coordinating with Program and Project Managers.
Ensure compliance with project deployment methodologies, internal standards (Security, Enterprise Architecture), operational guidelines, and best practices.
Maintain a solid understanding of middleware technologies (Tibco, Tibco MFT, EMS, BW, BWCE, BE, Tibco Mashery/API management) and collaborate with the customer’s SDM and Enterprise Architects to create an integrated, effective integration solution.
Partner with EA and Service Delivery Managers to shape technology demand among business units.
Assist in creating design guidelines for software and hardware integration and operational/security designs.
Facilitate integration of new business solutions with legacy systems to satisfy client requirements.
Work with BA, PM, and QA teams to review test strategies and maintain requirements traceability throughout the SDLC.
Ensure business and functional requirements are maintained throughout the project SDLC.
Solution Architect level: 4+ years of progressive experience in solution architecture, data engineering, software engineering, or data science roles.
Senior Solution Architect level: 8+ years of progressive experience in solution architecture.
Advanced degree is a plus.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge and experience with Tibco suite of products (EMS, APIX, Mashery, MFT, BW, BWCE, ActiveSpaces, BE).
Experience managing application support and maintenance functions in an organization or outsourced environment.
Ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Customer‑centric approach and strong data analytical ability.
Preference for candidates experienced with Containers , AWS, Servers, Storage, and Linux.
Certifications / Licenses
Technology certifications are a plus.
Other Requirements The role may require on‑site work with WWT customers. Some customers may require WWT employees and contractors to be vaccinated against COVID‑19 and/or to undergo frequent negative COVID‑19 testing.
