Role and Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive data strategies that align with the company's objectives.
Lead and expand the Data Engineering, Data Development, and Data Architecture teams.
Design and oversee the integration of new technology and approaches to enhance data processes and infrastructure.
Maintain an effective data governance framework to ensure data integrity and security.
Liaise with other department heads to support their data needs and ensure seamless interdepartmental cooperation.
Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data science and insurance analytics.
Evaluate department performance and lead strategic adjustments, setting clear goals and benchmarks for success.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience in Data Development, Data Architecture, and Data Engineering.
Strong leadership skills with experience in managing high-performing teams.
Excellent analytical skills with an ability to oversee large data sets and derive insightful conclusions.
Proficient understanding of data management technologies and software.
Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and with stakeholders.
Solid track record in project management and delivery within timelines and budgets.
