Job Title: Senior Business Process Analyst

Location: McLean, VA (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 months

Job Description:

As a Digital Business Analyst, you will work in Supply Management’s Digital Solutions team and serve as a key partner in advancing digital initiatives. This role is ideal for a strategic and hands‑on analyst who can assess current systems and processes, identify opportunities for digitization and automation, and help shape the digital roadmap. You will collaborate across teams to analyze workflows, recommend tools, and support project scoping for process redesign and system improvements.

Process Discovery, Improvement & Automation. Lead discovery efforts by conducting interviews, facilitating workshops, and mapping current‑state business processes across multiple functions. Translate process analysis into actionable recommendations that drive operational efficiency and business growth.

Tool & Platform Support. Help evaluate and implement new digital tools or platforms in alignment with new/optimized processes.

Pilots & Proofs of Concept (POCs). Support the design, execution, and evaluation of pilots and POCs to validate digital solutions against defined business objectives and enable successful adoption.

Initiative Prioritization. Help prioritize digital initiatives in partnership with stakeholders by driving business impact assessments and developing business cases.

Documentation & Requirements. Document business requirements and process flows in clear, stakeholder‑friendly formats, balancing clarity and value with documentation needs.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration. Partner with category management, account management, IT, and other teams to ensure alignment and execution of process improvements and digital projects.

Roadmap Development. Support planning, development, and execution of a digital transformation roadmap.

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

BA/BS in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field

5+ years of experience, ideally with exposure to digital transformation, IT modernization, or systems implementation.

Comfortable managing vendor relationships and software evaluations.

Proven ability to assess, document, and improve workflows in cross‑functional environments.

Experience gathering requirements from multiple stakeholders across business functions.

Familiarity with digital tools and platforms (e.g., Power Automate, Salesforce, ERPs, etc.)

Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

Exposure to low‑code or no‑code automation projects.

Experience with business process modeling tools.

Experience working with transformation or consulting teams.

Understanding of change management or continuous improvement methodologies.
