Position Description: Quality Reliability Engineer RLE International is seeking Quality/Reliability Engineers to work on-site at customer locations in Dearborn, MI. The position involves implementing powertrain business plans to ensure suppliers meet corporate launch, quality, and warranty metrics, among other responsibilities.

Implement commodity-specific business plans to ensure your suppliers exceed all corporate launch, quality, capacity, warranty metrics, and vehicle delivery.

Lead cross-functional decisions with Ford & Supplier leadership to drive resolution of open issues.

Implement actions to ensure zero vehicle losses from suppliers.

Principal for on-site troubleshooting and corrective actions for emergency supplier situations.

Lead adherence to Ford standards (i.e.Q1).

Drive assessment & validation of manufacturing feasibility at identified supplier sites.

Execute the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Advanced Quality Planning Process (APQP).

Use available data, metrics, and business plans to drive future sourcing decisions ensuring improved future quality.

Implement commodity-specific business plans to ensure your suppliers exceed all corporate launch, quality, capacity, warranty metrics, and vehicle delivery.

Lead on-site troubleshooting and corrective actions for emergency supplier situations.
