National Electrical Superintendent (Data Center / Heavy Industrial Projects)

Pay:
$140,000 – $180,000 per year (based on experience)
Additional Compensation:
Per diem, vehicle allowance, and travel incentives
Overview We are hiring a National Electrical Superintendent to lead and manage large-scale electrical construction projects nationwide. This position oversees multiple crews, ensures job quality and safety, and supports the Director of Operations and Project Management teams.
The ideal candidate has strong experience with Data Center or Heavy Industrial projects, proven field leadership, and the ability to travel frequently to support ongoing operations across the U.S.
Responsibilities
Supervise and manage multiple job sites and field teams (Superintendents, Foremen, Journeymen, and Apprentices)
Oversee project staffing, scheduling, and quality control
Ensure all electrical work complies with NEC and local codes
Conduct daily reports, look‑ahead schedules, and weekly safety meetings
Enforce OSHA and company safety standards; ensure PPE use at all times
Mentor and train field staff to maintain consistent performance and safety
Track labor performance and field progress
Manage company vehicles, tools, and equipment mobilization
Support project documentation, drawings, and equipment installations
Coordinate closely with Project Managers, HR, Payroll, and Accounting
Requirements
10+ years of electrical construction experience
Active Journeyman License (Master Electrician License required within 6 months of hire)
Experience with large commercial, Data Center, or Heavy Industrial projects
Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical theory
Proficient in reading blueprints, specs, and electrical submittals
Skilled with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel nationwide
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Working Conditions
Work in various environments and weather conditions
Lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights up to 90 ft
Enter confined spaces when required (crawlspaces, tunnels, attics)
Safely operate hand tools, lifts, and heavy equipment
Wear required PPE at all times
40+ hours per week, with overtime and occasional night shift
Preferred Experience
Managing multi-site or national electrical projects
Supervising large crews in industrial or data center settings
Training and mentoring field staff
Proven ability to make decisions and solve problems under pressure
Compensation Package Base Pay:
$140,000 – $180,000 per year (DOE)
Per Diem:
Provided for travel days
Vehicle Allowance:
Company vehicle or monthly allowance
Travel Incentives:
Lodging, mileage reimbursement, and paid travel time
Schedule 40+ hours per week | Overtime as needed | Frequent travel required
License/Certification Journeyman Electrician (required), Master Electrician (preferred/within 6 months)
