Our client in Miami (Design District) is seeking a detail-oriented
Senior Accountant
to support month‑end close, financial reporting, and overall accounting operations. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, experience managing high‑volume data, and the ability to collaborate across departments in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Month-End Close: Oversee and execute month‑end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
General Ledger Management: Maintain and analyze the general ledger, ensuring transactions are properly classified and recorded.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including P&L and balance sheet analysis, variance reporting, and reconciliations.
Intercompany Accounting: Manage intercompany reconciliations and assist with consolidations across entities.
Audit Support: Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Partner with finance leadership to support budget development, forecasts, and performance tracking.
Process Improvement: Recommend and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and GAAP/IFRS standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, operations, and other business teams to ensure financial accuracy and alignment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
6+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within manufacturing, consumer goods, or similar industries.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
Proficiency in SAP is
REQUIRED.
Salary Range 100‑120K, DOE
