Position Overview The Project Accountant is responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to ensure the accuracy of financial information submitted with billings and all backup support. The candidate will work closely with the operations teams, tracking and reporting all financial aspects of the project with an emphasis on cost information and project specific requirements as needed.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Manages T&M Billings and detailed supporting documentation to General Contractor. Assist project management team with monthly final report summaries.

Works with all project vendors/subcontractors, internal and external production facilities to receive all supporting documentation for their invoices/billing.

Facilitates paperwork between project vendors/subcontractors and the General Contractor.

Logs and categorizes invoices based on SOV for easy review.

Manages all vendor/subcontractor progress and final lien releases.

Submits supporting documents on all UBE requirements per our Contract (yet to be finalized).

Other contract requirements not yet finalized.

Basic Qualifications

Successful completion of a two-year accounting program or equivalent experience.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting and communicating with management, peers, and others.

Prior construction contract billing experience or solid understanding of construction contract billings.

Proven attention to detail, strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to use computer-based technology, such as an ERP System, Document Management System, Excel, and Lotus Notes.

Able to work in a high volume, fast paced environment with a high degree of accuracy. Flexible and able to handle multiple tasks.

Compensation The successful candidate for the Project Accountant role in Las Vegas, NV can expect to earn $65,000 to $85,000 per year. This position is also eligible to participate in the company's incentive bonus plan.

They must occasionally wear eye and ear protection; industry standard safety equipment is provided by the company and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required.
