We’re looking for a
Financial Planner
with at least 2–5 years of HNW/UHNW planning experience to join a cutting-edge Planning Team that’s transforming how advanced planning is delivered. This is a rare opportunity to help shape a technology-forward, client-centric offering in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
You’ll work closely with Firm Leadership to design and deliver sophisticated planning strategies across estate planning, retirement, income tax optimization, and investment management. You’ll also play a key role in enhancing internal planning resources, training advisors, and providing strategic insights that go far beyond the basics.
Why You’ll Love This Role:
You’ll work directly with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients, helping them navigate life’s biggest financial decisions with confidence.
This is more than a job — it’s a chance to influence the design of a modern, scalable planning platform within a high-growth RIA.
You’ll be mentored by thought leaders in the field and given room to stretch, contribute, and evolve professionally.
Enjoy remote flexibility with opportunities to collaborate in-person at the Los Angeles office if local.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Build and maintain advanced, holistic financial plans using tools like eMoney and Holistiplan.
Analyze estate planning documents (e.g., wills, SLATs, GRATs, QPRTs, charitable trusts) and provide actionable insights beyond software outputs.
Partner with advisors, attorneys, and internal teams to design and implement estate and tax strategies tailored to UHNW client needs.
Lead and participate in client meetings to guide decision-making on topics such as trust funding, asset titling, tax optimization, and generational wealth transfer.
Create client-ready planning materials and contribute to firm-wide educational content, webinars, and social platforms.
Mentor junior team members and share technical knowledge across the planning team.
Support advisor education and training initiatives to elevate internal expertise.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree required; JD, CPA, and/or CFP® strongly preferred.
2–5 years of experience in financial planning, estate law, or wealth management.
Familiarity with complex estate planning techniques for $10M+ clients.
Ability to interpret legal and financial documents and communicate complex planning topics clearly and confidently.
Knowledge of income, gift, and estate tax strategies and returns (review experience is a plus).
Experience with planning software like eMoney, Holistiplan, or similar.
Licenses: Series 7 and 66 (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
Based in or able to work comfortably within Pacific Time Zone. Los Angeles-area candidates may work from the local office.
Highly competitive base salary + bonus opportunities
Full suite of benefits
