We’re looking for a detail‑oriented Billing and Accounting Clerk to join our Business Office and support daily financial operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and wants to grow within the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate general ledger entries and perform account reconciliations.
Review and post vehicle deals, ensuring accuracy and completeness of supporting documentation.
Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions.
Reconcile bank accounts, manufacturer statements, and internal schedules.
Monitor inventory accounting for vehicles and parts, including floorplan reconciliations.
Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
Prepare reports and schedules for management and external auditors.
Assist the Controller and Accounting Manager with special projects as needed.
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
1–3 years of accounting experience, dealership experience required.
Working knowledge of accounting software (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, or similar).
Strong Excel and general computer skills.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
Ability to meet deadlines in a high‑volume environment.
