Instrumentation Technician
for a reputable industrial client in East Baton Rouge. This is a direct hire opportunity for candidates with strong experience in industrial instrumentation, electrical systems, and control systems.
Key Responsibilities
Install, calibrate, and maintain industrial instrumentation and control systems.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Instrumentation Technician in an industrial setting.
Associate degree or equivalent in Instrumentation, Electronics, or related field.
Valid
TWIC card
required.
The Ability to pass a DISA background check and hair follicle drug screen required.
Willingness and ability to travel throughout Southern Louisiana.
Strong knowledge of PLCs, SCADA systems, and electrical systems.
NCCER Certification .
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
Commitment to safety, accuracy, and quality workmanship.
Benefits & Perks
Guaranteed minimum of
40 hours/week , with optional overtime up to
70 hours/week .
Per diem
available for travel: $75–$150/day depending on site.
Opportunities for
out-of-state travel
(optional).
