Arion Fund, founded in 2015, is a middle‑market private credit fund specializing in real‑estate secured loans. As a direct bridge lender, we offer real‑estate investors quick, short‑term bridge financing to fund the acquisition, renovation, rehabilitation and development of residential or commercial properties, including one to four family homes, multifamily properties, condo inventories, mixed‑use properties and ground‑up construction projects.
Role Description:
This is a full‑time on‑site role for a CRE loan underwriter. The prospective candidate will:
Identify and mitigate potential credit risks associated with mortgages
Be responsible for analyzing financial information pertaining to residential, mixed‑use, and multifamily assets
Spearhead due diligence and closing processes
The CRE loan underwriter will work with our credit committee, organization team, sponsors, attorneys, and brokers to facilitate private credit transactions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting or related field
Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
Experience in CRE underwriting and/or financial modeling
Excellent communication, organizational, and time‑management skills
Advanced Excel skills
Experience with loans and/or credit
Strong written and verbal communication skills
3+ years of experience in commercial real‑estate lending, underwriting, or acquisitions
Seniority level Mid‑Senior level
