is seeking an experienced

Audit Manager (CPA or EA required)

to lead our audit engagements, manage key client relationships, and guide a talented team of professionals. This position is ideal for a leader who enjoys working with sophisticated clients and complex accounting issues across multiple industries.

About RSJ RSJ is an independently owned, full‑service tax and accounting firm with three core divisions: Tax, Audit, and Financial and Accounting Services. Our Audit Division serves a diverse portfolio of public and private clients in industries such as manufacturing, technology, entertainment, real estate, professional services, and nonprofit organizations.

The Opportunity As an Audit Manager, you will play a central leadership role in overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of multiple audit engagements. You will ensure quality, compliance, and profitability while providing technical guidance and mentorship to your team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with partners, CFOs, business owners, and boards of directors on complex and rewarding engagements.

Key Responsibilities Engagement Management

Lead and review multiple audit engagements with precision and efficiency.

Oversee audit planning, budgeting, and reporting processes.

Review financial statements and disclosures for compliance with GAAP and GAAS.

Research and resolve complex accounting and technical issues.

Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, including executives, boards, and audit committees.

Build long‑term client relationships based on trust, technical excellence, and responsiveness.

Anticipate client needs and present tailored solutions across the firm’s service lines.

Team Development

Supervise, mentor, and develop Supervisors, Senior Associates, and Associates.

Foster a collaborative and high‑performing team environment.

Promote technical learning and professional growth through active coaching.Contribute to firm initiatives, committees, and process improvements.

Represent RSJ in professional settings and uphold the firm’s reputation for quality and integrity.

Qualifications

Active

CPA

or

EA

license (required).

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance (Master’s preferred).

Minimum

seven

years of recent public accounting audit experience.

Strong technical expertise in GAAP and GAAS.

Demonstrated success leading complex audit engagements.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Experience with diverse clients in both public and private sectors.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $130,000 to $160,000, plus performance‑based bonus
