A respected civil litigation firm is seeking a motivated
Associate Attorney
with
2–4 years of experience
to join its
Wilmington office . This is a great opportunity for an attorney who thrives in a collaborative environment and values meaningful client relationships.
About the Role: The successful candidate will handle a broad range of civil litigation matters, working closely with experienced attorneys on complex cases in both state and federal court. You’ll be part of a team that values professional growth, teamwork, and quality advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and briefs
Conduct and defend depositions, including preparation of clients and expert witnesses
Manage written discovery and assess responses
Provide exceptional written and verbal communication to clients
Negotiate settlements and participate in mediations
Prepare for trial, including strategy, witness prep, exhibits, and motions in limine
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective case management and results
Qualifications:
2–4 years of civil litigation experience
Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
Strong organizational and case management abilities
Team-oriented mindset and proactive work ethic
Licensed to practice law in North Carolina
