Responsibilities
Assists in preparation, negotiation, acceptance, and management of Government contracts/subcontracts.
Assists in creation and administration of purchase orders and ensuring compliance with corporate policies, procedures, FAR, DFAR, and other applicable laws.
Reviews and approves contractual documents to protect the company’s contractual posture, satisfy Government specifications, and adhere to company policy.
Advises management on contractual rights and obligations, and provides interpretation of terms and conditions.
Serves as the customer point of contact for all contractual matters during all phases of contract formation and administration, including legal requirements, contract terms, intellectual property and data rights, customer specifications, and government regulations.
Manages and administers subcontracts, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and FAR/DFAR, and oversees administration of all customer, subcontractor, vendor, and strategic partner contracts.
Evalues contracts for conformance with company policies and practices to meet business objectives and ensure compliance with customer specifications and government regulations.
Reviews and negotiates terms and conditions proposals, subcontracts, modifications, and other agreements (e.g., non‑disclosure and teaming agreements, memorandums of understanding).
Provides proactive, creative, and business‑oriented solutions as part of reviewing solicitations, statement of work, schedules, and deliverables.
Evaluates organizational conflict of interest (OCI) issues and prepares mitigation strategies.
Makes decisions on wide‑ranging contract actions that are not well defined or lack precedence.
Provides guidance on contract matters to project managers or other operational staff, including training new project managers and employees in contracting practices and procedures.
Performs basic administration of contracts/subcontracts such as executing contract processing, assisting with project set‑up, reviewing invoices, monitoring cost and schedule, and closing out.
Manages centralized file storage and documentation system for all contract‑related materials.
Establishes and maintains excellent customer relations both internally and externally.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
1 to 2 years of Contract/Procurement experience, including requisitions and certifications.
Strong organizational skills with ability to resolve issues with little oversight.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Ability to perform well in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven business environment.
Positive attitude and proactive mindset.
Independently researches, navigates, and resolves issues.
Computer savvy.
Preferred Skills and Experience
3+ years of Contract and/or procurement experience.
Experience with SharePoint.
Experience with Deltek Costpoint.

Compensation Competitive salary based on experience and education. Hourly rate of pay $19-$22
