Job Description Tow truck drivers will be responsible for providing best-in-class towing service for RB Global. Drivers are responsible for the inbound and outbound towing of light duty vehicles—including motorcycles, travel trailers, and various other vehicles that can be fitted to a standard ball hitch—for a diversified customer base. The pickup and delivery of vehicles according to due dates for all work assigned through the RB Global Dispatch Team is essential. Drivers will provide status updates to customers and dispatchers, and perform all communication, paperwork, condition reporting, and imaging required, including title verification, as necessary.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company tow trucks and tow light duty vehicles without causing damage to vehicles in tow.

Perform pre and post trip inspections to ensure towed vehicles are not damaged.

Safely tow customer vehicles.

Perform pre and post trip inspections to ensure tow trucks are in good working order and comply with all safety requirements.

Collaborate with the IAA Dispatch Team and be a positive influence.

Provide excellent customer service.

Record all pickup and delivery events, and capture all necessary information, including images, on the IAA Tow App.

Verify title information when title pickup is required and communicate any discrepancies with the IAA Dispatch Team.

Ensure all assigned tow jobs are completed on or before the due date.

Other duties as assigned per business needs.

Qualifications

Minimum 1‑year towing/transport experience.

Attentive and drive with care.

Possess route planning and efficiency skills.

Ability to deal with hazards and obstructions when presented.

Customer service skills.

General mechanical knowledge of trucks and automobiles.

Detail oriented.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Possess a valid Class D Driver's License with a clean driving record.

Willingness to work 12–14 hr shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Dispatch experience.

Outdoor work year‑round.
