to join a leading environmental services team in Torrance, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a clean driving record who want to work locally and gain hands‑on experience in environmental services, including hazardous waste removal, asbestos, mold, lead abatement, and demolition support.
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Field Technician to work independently at local job sites, supporting environmental service projects. The ideal candidate prioritizes safety, follows company and regulatory standards, and ensures all tasks are completed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Drive locally to job sites, transporting equipment, materials, and supplies as needed
Assist with environmental services, including hazardous waste removal, asbestos, mold, lead abatement, and demolition support
Follow all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company procedures on‑site
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and site activities
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress or issues
Ensure company vehicles and equipment are maintained in proper working condition
Perform general support tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Previous experience in environmental services, construction, or a related field
Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials as required
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
Local candidates for quick response to job sites
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working outdoors and in various environmental conditions
Able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
