Job Description: The CMO Training Supervisor has functional responsibility for training operations in the CMO manufacturing departments, including documentation, formulation, preparation, filtration, filling, lyophilization, inspection and packaging. This includes New Hire and Onboarding, content creation, maintaining/revising Compliance Wire & LMS curriculums and roles, ensuring training consistency across all shifts, assisting with audit observations, TrackWise PRs, and supervising training employees.
Responsibilities
Supervise assigned training operations which might include onboarding of new personnel, curricula ownership and reviews, training coordinator activities, content creation and manufacturing compliance of training items. Supervises and ensures consistent shift training. Report operational status to the next level of management.
Review and update training documentation associated with the CMO manufacturing areas.
Provide cGMP, GDP, job task, and safety training for personnel in the SVP areas, including coordination with shift SMEs to provide training.
Generate, update and maintain area Standard Operating Procedures. Ensure compliance with cGMP through observation, training and auditing. Address questions related to training in audits or audit responses.
Supervise hourly employee performance, including compliance with SOPs, cGMPs, and safety regulations.
Perform deviation investigations related to the assigned area of responsibility, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence, including CAPA and change control initiations and completion.
Order production supplies and equipment required for training.
Prepare training compliance reports and other data sets.
Interview new employees, provide coaching and counseling to area personnel, conduct performance evaluations and set objectives and performance standards. Support disciplinary actions as needed.
Interact with all supporting departments to promptly resolve training problems with appropriate quality considerations.
Qualifications
4 years Pharmaceutical Manufacturing/Training/Communications or related leadership experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in hard science, communications, business or applicable discipline desired.
Minimum 4 years of related experience required.
Pharmaceutical experience, teaching or training experience, or other regulated industry experience desired.
Prolonged sitting and standing required.
Scrub, smock trained to occasionally enter ISO or Grade areas required.
Microsoft Office experience required.
CMO Training Supervisor II
2+ years as Supervisor I required.
CMO Training Supervisor III
2+ years as Supervisor II required.
Shift Weekday Days, Monday-Friday. This is an on-site, full-time position located in Spokane, WA.
Compensation and Benefits
Hiring Wage:
CMO Training Supervisor I: 81,825.00 - 120,000 annually depending on experience, with growth opportunities and annual raises.
CMO Training Supervisor II: 89,250.00 - 130,900 annually depending on experience, with growth opportunities and annual raises.
CMO Training Supervisor III: 102,075.00 - 149,700 annually depending on experience, with growth opportunities and annual raises.
