Stonegate Protection-Director of Security and Operations Team PURPOSE AND SCOPE
To manage Stonegate Protection’s client assigned site, Lake Wildwood. The security site supervisor will maintain and direct a security team sufficient to assist within reasonable limits, in reducing or preventing injury and/or property loss to Stonegate Protection Inc, and the the Association (the assigned site) and others, enforce the Governing Documents of the Association and control access into Lake Wildwood. To all Security Personnel JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Assists with employment recruiting, hiring, team evaluations, coaching, disciplinary action, for all personnel as required within the Department with the approval of Stonegate Protection Operations. B. Maintains performance records and conducts periodic evaluations on Security personnel. C. Assures conformance with BSIS, Governing Documents and Emergency Plan. D. Ensures that payroll details, including staffing, scheduling, time cards, payroll check distribution (if applicable), sick leave, etc., within the Security Department, are accurately maintained and reported to the Stonegate Protection Operations team. E. Arranges and creates specialized training programs, under direction of Stonegate Protection Operations, to upgrade skills and performance of Security personnel. F. Maintain an inventory of equipment used by the Department, arranges for periodic maintenance to assure satisfactory operating capability of Security equipment such as: patrol vehicle, communication equipment, first aid & CPR. equipment, etc. G. Make recommendations to operations management concerning equipment replacement, acquisition or disposition. H. Inspects, reports, recommends and arranges for maintenance of Security facilities such as gates and gate houses, or other facilities necessary to the function of the Security Department. I. Develops and updates Departmental Procedures for reducing Company and Association liability or loss as a result of improper or unsafe actions and conditions or use of Association facilities. J. Assists in the preparation of Security budgets. Monitors department performance against approved budgets and reports deviations to the Stonegate Protection, if applicable. K. The Security Supervisor shall be responsible for assuming full authority over all Association employees, in the absence of the General Manager, in situations arising within Lake Wildwood Association boundaries which, in his estimation, constitute an immediate threat to life or property within such boundaries (i.e. fire evacuations, flooding, earthquake). He shall direct such actions as he deems necessary to alleviate such situations as quickly as possible. He shall report any emergency situations and his subsequent action to the Stonegate Protection Director of Security and Lake Wildwood General Manager as soon as practically possible thereafter. L. All facilities equipped with locking devices, owned by the Association, shall be accessible to the Security Site Manager. He/She shall be responsible for the safe custody of keys, maintain an inventory of duplicate keys, issue keys to authorized personnel, maintain a log of all persons authorized to have keys to Association property, listing what keys are issued, the access they provide, the date of issue and when indicated, date of return. In the event keys are lost or stolen, he shall take whatever steps that may be necessary to insure security of the facility at risk and report such action to Stonegate Management. M. When not on vacation, the Security Site Supervisor is deemed to be on active duty as needed and required. N. Responsible for maintaining and training of a proper security force in order to properly enforce the Lake Wildwood Governing Documents. O. Maintains an up to date Emergency Plan and a trained volunteer force consisting of LWA members for plan implementation in the event of an actual emergency or drill (if applicable and must be approved by both Stonegate Ops & LWA Management). P. Maintain knowledge of current technology relating to security and access control equipment and assist in the procurement and maintenance of applicable equipment. Q. Maintains communications with the public and other agencies to enhance the service to the community and promote a positive working relationship. R. Maintain knowledge of California Penal Code, Vehicle Code, and other related laws. S. Attend weekly and monthly meetings as required by the Association. T. Any other duties as may be required and/or assigned. ACCOUNTABILITY
For maintenance of the security force within the confines of the approved Association budget. For safe custody of all locks and keys used on Association facilities and equipment. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
A. Not required but strongly encourage to have a law enforcement background. B. Encouraged to have completed a POST basic police academy. C. Must possess a valid California Driver's license for community patrols. D. Education and three years experience commensurate with above duties. E. Must possess or obtain and keep current a California Guard card, boater card and CPR card. PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
A. Physical Demands - Excellent physical condition, seeing, hearing/listening, complete speech, dexterity, smelling, driving, running, sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting/carrying 50 lb.. Use of vehicles, firearms, computer, radio, phone and boat. B. Mental demands - Complex reading of technical reports, names/addresses, reports, maps, and written directions, math skills including algebra clerical, memorization, analyzing, perception/comprehension, judgment, decision making, attention to detail critical concerning surroundings and data entry, frequent repetition of data entry and tasks, investigation skills, supervision. C. Environmental Demands - Works alone and with others, verbal and face to face contact, shift work, extended day, inside/outside, extreme heat/cold, temperature changes, wet and/or humid, noise from vehicles and sirens, vibration, mechanical/electrical equipment, burning materials, moving objects, dirt/dust, may be exposed to vehicle exhaust and gas fumes.
