C&G Partners is a multi-specialty creative studio dedicated to design for culture. We focus on design and user experience, making sure that our creations are elegant, engaging, seamlessly integrated, and efficient. We do this by creating carefully tailored designs that follow industry standards and best practices, ensuring that our work is not just visually appealing, but also well‑built, sustainable, and accessible.

We have an immediate opening for a mid‑to‑senior‑level museum exhibition graphic designer. This position is ideal for an established designer with a minimum of 3–5 years of solid experience working in a collaborative design environment. We are looking for a designer who is curious, positive, passionate, and has new ideas to share.

Our studio is unique: we undertake projects that involve multiple kinds of in‑house design specialists at the same time, from media designers, to architects, graphic designers, writers and more. Projects will always encompass more than one design discipline, and we welcome designers who are interested in working across fields.

Responsibilities

Mentoring less‑experienced museum exhibition graphic designers

Pushing the boundaries of museum exhibition graphic design excellence for this client type

Excellent verbal and written communication, including directly with clients

Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

Positive attitude and takes criticism well

Self‑motivated and independent thinker with strong communication skills

Organized and able to follow up on long and short‑term projects

Flexibility to work independently and be a team player when necessary

Ability and willingness to adapt to rapidly changing priorities

Collaborate and coordinate work with team, including other graphic designers, 3D designers, content team, media team, and outside consultants

Liaise with exhibit fabricator, project architect, and client

Help plan project timelines

HTML, AfterEffects, 3D software like SketchUp are all a plus but are not required

Experience reading architectural drawings is a plus (we can teach you)

Requirements

Excellent design skills

Excellent typography skills

Well‑versed in working with imagery, color, and grids

3–5 years of experience

Advanced skills in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)

A well‑organized and detail‑oriented, can‑do attitude

Comfort working as part of a team and leading junior designers

Articulate and poised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience working in exhibitions

Be able to communicate and collaborate with other creatives, architects, and fabricators, with experience in sending artwork for pre‑production and production

An understanding of physical design materials

Details And How To Apply Salary range: $70,000 - $85,000
