About The Position Job Quick Facts: Specialty: Obstetrics and Gynecology Job Type: Locum Tenens Facility Location: Kalispell, MT Service Setting: Inpatient Outpatient Reason for Coverage: Vacancy Medical Leave Coverage Period: Oct 31 Dec 31, 2025 Coverage Type: Clinical Call Shift Schedule: MondayThursday, 8a5p Call Schedule: Every 4th5th day; post-call day off Call Type: Beeper Call Response Time: 30 minutes Patient Demographics: Adult (OB/GYN) Patient Volume: ~20 per shift; ~2 deliveries per 24-hr call Annual Deliveries: ~600 Case Mix: General & High-Risk Obstetrics, Routine Gynecology Support Staff: RNs, MAs, PAs/NPs Trauma Level: III Pediatric Level: III EMR: MediTech Procedures & Skills required: -Full-scope obstetric and gynecologic care -High-risk pregnancy management -Emergency C-section competency -Neonatal resuscitation -Laparoscopic and open gynecologic surgery -Repair of complex perineal lacerations -Vaginal and C-section deliveries -Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations -Minor and major gynecologic surgeries (laparoscopic, open) -Hysterectomy, oophorectomy, and salpingectomy -IUD placement and removal -Colposcopy and LEEP -Cystoscopy -Collaboration with multidisciplinary maternity and surgical teams Other Info: -Full-scope OB/GYN coverage for both assigned and unassigned patients; temporary privileges available.
