Overview Role: Software Engineer

Team: Data Platform

Type: Individual Contributor

Level: Mid‑level (3‑6 years of experience)

Compensation: $125k‑175k salary + 0.5‑1% equity, depending on experience

Location: Hybrid in NYC

Responsibilities

Building our core data systems and API

Collaborating with product engineers to ship new features

Increasing team productivity by improving the development lifecycle

In addition to the above, you’ll have the chance to be involved in other areas of the business like product, growth, recruiting, and fundraising.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience engineering data systems with technologies such as Spark, Beam, or Flink

Strong experience in relational database schema design

Experience with cloud infrastructure DevOps

Excellent communication ability

Strong sense of ownership and craftsmanship

Can move quickly and accurately under conditions of uncertainty without supervision

Bonus points if you have previous blockchain data, early‑stage startup, or finance experience

Interview Process

Meet Charlie, our CTO. He’ll ask in‑depth questions about your work history and give you an overview of our company and culture.

Complete a technical take‑home assignment that simulates a real‑world problem we face every day.

Onsite whiteboard a system‑design problem, discuss your thinking about engineering management and processes, and enjoy a lunch with the team.

We finish with a paid trial run, working with us over a weekend or part‑time during the week to give both sides a better sense of fit.

Afterwards, we’ll ask for references with past colleagues and compile a formal offer.
