Professional Talent Acquisition Specialist What are we looking for?

Education and Professional Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or other related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

Knowledge/Experience

● 8-10 years in customer development, sales/account management, brand management, and shopper marketing, in a CPG environment



Experience on the front lines of customer/account management, in sales, trade marketing, customer marketing or shopper marketing



Solid knowledge and experience with the data sources and analytics required to support retailers, and a willingness to manage those independently



Passionate about growth with an entrepreneurial mindset, ready to take on the challenges of a lean organization

What will be your key responsibilities?

● Own the direct relationships with leading ecommerce account (to be announced), plus potentially distributors, growing our retail/wholesale business and developing new opportunities for customer reach.

○ Conduct regular meetings with the buyers and cross functional teams at the retailers to maximize the effectiveness of our partnerships. Act as the key point of contact for all retailer requests for assets, sales materials, new item set ups, etc.

● Lead forecasting, planning, and analysis of the accounts. Seek new opportunities to deliver incremental sales and margin through improvements in distribution.

● Refine and implement MAP policies and trade promotions as necessary, measuring and optimizing over the subsequent years.

● Develop medium to long-range sales plans and prepare strategies to protect, grow, and diversify the relationship with a defined group of existing customers

● Resolving problems and ensuring customers receive high quality customer service

● Developing client retention and growth plans and strategies for developing profitable business with assigned accounts

● Reviewing and reporting on customer retention, business opportunity and market trends Incumbents in this specialization may be selling directly to the ultimate purchaser or indirectly through channel partners.

● With the brand team, ideate, develop, and execute retailer specific shopper marketing plans, including coupons and digital demos and retailer marketing programs, and work with marketing to ensure wholesale partnerships are represented in brand and media planning. Lead briefing and implementation, in collaboration with the brand marketing and creative teams, of brand presence on retail sites and in stores.

● Sales savvy: comfort understanding the buyers, competition and levers that exist in a retail and e-comm environment

● Ideally, a combination of big company, classical training, and a start-up, entrepreneurial mindset: a roll up the sleeves approach, with humility and low ego

● Results-orientation and self-motivation: you have strong detail and organizational skills, and love coming up with solutions, not just raising problems
