Base pay range $52,000.00/yr - $78,000.00/yr
Job Overview We are seeking an Account Manager for our Spokane Valley, WA office that is comfortable with both Personal lines and small commercial lines. Active Washington State Insurance and Surplus Broker Lines License required. Idaho residents are preferred.
Responsibilities
Manage a large book of small commercial insurance policies.
Proactively review and service client accounts by obtaining the necessary information for renewals; preparing applications, surveys and other documents for submission, selection of markets, negotiations with underwriters, preparation of proposals, processing of policies as well as reviewing issued policies for accuracy and endorsements.
Appropriately document conversations with clients and carrier representatives and update all associated management systems when necessary.
Quote, bind, and issue new policies.
Qualifications
Active Washington State Insurance and Surplus Broker Lines License.
E&S Market Risk Experience.
Strong technical knowledge of coverage in all Commercial Lines insurance coverage.
3+ years of Commercial Insurance experience.
