Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
or
Physician Assistant
to join our dynamic group of providers at Medical City Dallas in the Pediatric Emergency Department.
Overview As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high‑quality, compassionate care to pediatric patients in our Emergency Department. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and support staff, you will assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of pediatric medical conditions and emergencies.
Position Profile
Current licensure / certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (preferred). No new grads at this time.
19 Pediatric ED Beds + 2 Triage Spaces
39,000 annual volume
9‑hour shifts
Meditech EMR
Pediatric subspecialties include cardiology, cardiac surgery, GI, hematology/oncology, nephrology, neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, ENT, surgery, urology, and plastic surgery.
Join a team of experienced PEM trained physicians and acute care, pediatric dedicated, advanced practice providers who provide 24/7 PED coverage.
Facility Information Medical City Children’s Hospital, established in 1996, is a leading 254‑bed pediatric healthcare facility in Dallas, Texas, renowned for its comprehensive, specialized care. It features a 37‑bed pediatric med‑surg unit, pediatric emergency department with resuscitation/trauma bays, and subspecialties in areas such as pediatric surgery, cardiology, neurology, and more.
