About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Account Manager – Vertical Sales (Equipment OEMs) to expand our partnerships with automation and equipment OEMs across North America. The ideal candidate understands the automation ecosystem, thrives on relationship building, and has a proven ability to generate new business and manage complex technical sales cycles. solutions portfolio by partnering with OEMs who supply automation, robotics, and process equipment to the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

Identify, engage, and develop relationships with OEM customers and key decision-makers.

Drive the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, proposal, negotiation, and closing.

Develop strategic account plans aligned with PITCO’s growth targets in automation, robotics, and digital engineering.

Collaborate with engineering and project teams to prepare proposals and technical presentations.

Represent PITCO Engineering at trade shows, networking events, and OEM-focused conferences.

Maintain accurate CRM data, sales forecasts, and account metrics.

Provide market feedback to leadership on OEM trends, competition, and opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; or equivalent industry experience.

3–5+ years of experience in B2B technical sales, ideally in automation, robotics, or industrial equipment.

Proven success developing OEM relationships and managing long sales cycles.

Strong understanding of manufacturing automation, controls, or industrial systems.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Must pass drug screening and background check.

Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to travel.

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).

Desired Qualifications

Experience selling to German, Japanese, or U.S. equipment OEMs (e.g., Siemens, Festo, Fanuc, ABB, Keyence, etc.).

Knowledge of automation standards, system integration, and engineering services.

Familiarity with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).

Technical background in controls, robotics, or digital twin software a strong plus.
