Job Description

Job Description

Are you looking for a part‑time clinician role where you can make an impact and optimize patient health outcomes? Gameday Men’s Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (experienced or new grad) to deliver exceptional men’s health consultations and treatments between two Bay Area clinics.

This role starts with 2 days per week with potential to scale to 3–4 days as clinic needs expand. No late nights, no weekends!

You’ll create measurable patient outcomes through testosterone optimization, ED treatments, peptide and vitamin therapies, and weight loss treatments. You’ll work in our streamlined process: patients complete their Testosterone labs and get results within 15 minutes, then meet with you for expert evaluation and personalized treatment planning. If eligible, patients begin their customized treatment plan right away.

Success in this role means patients leave their appointments with a clear treatment plan and stick with us because their results exceed expectations. If you’re the type of clinician who gets energized by patient transformations, thrives in a performance‑based environment, and wants to specialize in men’s health rather than being a generalist forever – keep reading.

OBJECTIVES (What You’ll Accomplish in Year 1)

Deliver 6‑10 high‑quality patient consultations per clinic day with thorough assessments, clear treatment plans, and exceptional patient satisfaction scores

Achieve 75%+ patient conversion rate from consultation to treatment enrollment through consultative, educational approach

Complete competency‑based training within 4 weeks: online modules, shadowing, supervised clinical practice in testosterone replacement, ED treatments (Gainswave, P‑Shot, Trimix), PRP procedures, and BHRT pellet procedures

Maintain clinical accuracy: labs ordered appropriately, prescriptions compliant with protocols, documentation complete within 24 hours of patient visits

Build patient retention: 90%+ of patients continue treatment plans at 3‑month follow‑up through excellent outcomes and communication

Contribute to monthly clinic growth targets: always helping patients start experiencing our treatments and feeling their best

Demonstrate consultative communication style: patients understand their conditions, treatment options, risks/benefits, and feel empowered in decisions

Collaborate seamlessly with MAs and front desk: efficient patient flow, clear handoffs, proactive problem‑solving when scheduling or supply issues arise

Stay current on men’s health protocols: attend monthly training calls, read assigned materials, implement new treatment protocols as released

Maintain compliance: DEA regulations, state scope of practice, proper medication storage, HIPAA standards, medical records standards

Handle patient concerns professionally: respond to patient questions within 24 hours, address side effects or questions promptly, elevate appropriately

Show up and work efficiently: consistent attendance on scheduled days, minimal last‑minute cancellations, minimal overtime

Adapt to clinic needs: willingness to scale up to additional days as training completes and coverage needs arise

Contribute ideas for improvement: bring suggestions to administrative team for better patient experience, operational efficiency, or clinical protocols based on what you observe

Represent the brand professionally: confident, knowledgeable, approachable demeanor that makes patients feel comfortable discussing sensitive health topics

COMPETENCIES (Skills You Bring)

Consultative communication: ability to explain complex medical concepts (hormones, sexual health, lab values) in plain language that builds trust and understanding

Clinical curiosity: genuine interest in men’s health, hormone optimization, sexual medicine—not just showing up for a paycheck

Sales comfort (not sleazy sales): understands that helping patients say “yes” to treatment that improves their life is part of the job

Comfort with procedures: confident performing injections, drawing blood, or learning new hands‑on skills (we’ll train specifics)

Performance mindset: motivated by metrics, patient outcomes, and growth rather than just hourly pay

Adaptability: comfortable in fast‑paced environment where patient volume fluctuates and you may need to pivot quickly

Team collaboration: works well with support staff, communicates clearly, doesn’t operate in a silo

Self‑direction: takes initiative, troubleshoots problems independently, doesn’t need constant oversight once trained

Emotional intelligence: reads patient hesitation, addresses concerns, handles sensitive topics (ED, low libido, body image) with empathy

Coachability: receives feedback well, implements changes, asks questions when unsure

Reliability: shows up on time, follows through on commitments, doesn’t flake on scheduled shifts

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Required:

Active California Nurse Practitioner license (FNP, ANP, or AGNP) in good standing

Eligible for DEA license (we cover 100% of cost)

National certification (AANP or ANCC)

Current California furnishing number

No current or pending malpractice claims

Preferred (but not required):

1‑3 years post‑graduate clinical experience as an NP (we’ll consider new grads with the right attitude and work ethic)

Background in urgent care, primary care, aesthetics, weight loss, wellness, concierge medicine, or cash‑pay practice

Experience with testosterone, men’s health, or sexual wellness (we’ll train you if not)

Experience working under standardized procedures or collaborative agreements

What matters most to us: intelligence, drive, coachability, and genuine interest in helping men optimize their health. If you have the right competencies, we’ll teach you the clinical specifics.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Standing / walking 30‑40% of clinic day (moving between exam rooms, performing procedures)

Sitting 60‑70% for documentation and patient consultations

Ability to perform IM injections, draw blood, administer PRP treatments, and other procedures

Travel to locations in San Jose / Bay Area

Standard weekday business hours (no nights, no weekends, no on‑call)

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Compensation:

Hourly: $80‑95 / hour based on experience

Monthly performance bonuses: $300‑1,000 based on patient success and conversion rates

Commission: on certain treatments performed

Paid training: (reduced rate)

Benefits:

Medical malpractice insurance paid 100% by company

Generous employee discounts on all Gameday services and products (TRT, ED treatments, supplements, etc.)

Specialized training in men’s health and hormone optimization to add to your clinical expertise

Predictable weekday schedule – true work / life balance with no nights, weekends, or on‑call

Influence expansion decisions for new clinic locations or service offerings
