Job Summary
The Radiance/Solar Lighting Program Director leads and manages all aspects of Dalkia SIS’s Radiance and Solar Lighting Program, deploying sustainable, off‑grid, and renewable lighting solutions for municipalities, commercial clients, and infrastructure projects. The role drives program strategy, team development, and innovation, ensuring projects meet technical specifications, contractual obligations, environmental standards, and customer satisfaction goals.
Job Responsibilities Program Leadership & Strategy Lead and provide strategic direction for the entire program lifecycle, defining goals, performance indicators, service models, and growth opportunities aligned with Dalkia SIS’s mission.
Project Execution & Operations Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar lighting systems; ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery and regulatory compliance.
Customer & Stakeholder Management Act as primary liaison for municipal clients, stakeholder agencies, and internal leadership; manage relationships, address escalations, and promote program visibility.
Team Leadership & Development Build, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team; set goals, provide feedback, and foster a collaborative culture focused on safety and results.
Environmental, Safety & Compliance Oversight Ensure all projects meet environmental standards, permitting requirements, and safety protocols, and coordinate with relevant agencies.
Budgeting, Reporting & Risk Management Manage program budgets, track financial performance, identify and mitigate risks, and generate executive reports.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement Promote adoption of emerging technologies and process improvements, supporting digital transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field (required).
Master’s degree or MBA (preferred).
7–10 years of experience in solar lighting, renewable energy systems, infrastructure project management, or a closely related field.
Proven experience managing multi‑site or region‑wide technology deployments in public or commercial sectors.
Relevant certifications: PMP, NABCEP, PE, or similar (OSHA 30 preferred).
Skills and Competencies
Strong leadership and project management capabilities for large infrastructure or renewable energy projects.
Expertise in solar lighting technologies, off‑grid systems, battery storage, and smart lighting controls.
Knowledge of permitting, zoning, NEPA, and environmental regulations related to solar installations.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Procore, Smartsheet, Power BI).
Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
Commitment to safety, sustainability, and innovation.
Travel Requirements Occasional travel (up to 20%) to project sites, community meetings, or vendor and partner locations.
Work Environment Based at the San Antonio headquarters with regular coordination between office, field, and remote teams; field presence and client engagement are essential.
