Technical Product Manager – Grand Rapids, Michigan DISHER is currently partnering with a leading innovator in the furniture industry seeking a dynamic Technical Product Manager to join their team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Responsibilities

Demonstrate the company core values in daily actions, execution of tasks, and interactions with others

Collaborate with product development, sales, and marketing to define and maintain the product roadmap

Conduct market research and gather customer insights to inform product decisions

Define product requirements and user stories with clear acceptance criteria

Prioritize product features and enhancements based on business value, feasibility, and customer needs

Partner with design and product development to ensure products meet both aesthetic and functional standards

Monitor product performance using analytics, customer feedback, and key metrics to inform continuous improvement

Lead end‑to‑end project management for product development initiatives, from concept through production and market release

Lead project planning sessions, define scope, and set milestones to ensure timely delivery

Create detailed project plans and timelines, ensuring alignment with product development cycles

Manage cross‑functional teams, ensuring clear communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle

Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track

Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency on progress, issues, and dependencies

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience

At least 4 years of experience in program or project management

Previous experience in product development

Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills

Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Monday) and product analysis software (e.g., Excel)

Experience in consumer products, furniture, or manufacturing industries is a plus

Knowledge of fabrics, textiles, and sewing production processes is a plus

PMP or similar project management certification is a plus

Experience leading a team and/or managing people is a plus
